HISTORY
Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University where it is a source of learning as gateway to wisdom is said to be originate with generation of College of Education on March 27, 1968. College of Education was established for the purpose of producing quality teachers to serve in many fields and to be teachers mold in northeastern and regions. It was upgraded to be Srinakharinwirot Univeristy, Mahasarakham campus on June 29, 1942.

Srinakharinwirot Univeristy, Mahasarakham campus has improved and grown up in all aspects and finally gained independent status and became ‘Mahasarakham University’ (MSU).  Then, Faculty of Education has been completely upgraded and it was considered to be the first faculty in MSU.

The faculty has continued its responsibility to produce teachers and educators with expertise in various fields for the development of education at both local and national levels. In addition to offering degree programs at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, the faculty also emphasizes research for the development of education, as well as the provision of academic services to work units and people in local communities. In the past until nowadays, the Faculty of Education is continuously developed.

VISION
Faculty of Education is an organization with excellence in education at the national level, and is recognized internationally.

Description
1. Having excellence in education at national level means that the Faculty of Education shall produce graduates with knowledge, morality, ability, academic skills and professional skills and shall receive internal education quality assurance at a very good level.
2. Being recognized internationally means that the Faculty of Education has academic cooperation with foreign institutions such as students exchange, and academic staff exchange.
